You found me. And I’m glad you’re here.
This is the place for weekly writing prompts. In 2024, a vibrant community of writers made their way through 53 prompts with great success. We had such a good time, that I decided to bring back this newsletter for another year.
Here’s how it works: Each Monday, I post a prompt. All newly posted prompts are free for at least one week. Older prompts are locked behind a paywall in the Archive. You will always be able to access the current week’s prompt for free. Payment is gratefully accepted but not required!
You may use the prompts in any way you wish—the whole idea is for my prompts to prompt you! You can write a story, a poem, a flash fiction, a novel—it’s your choice. You are always welcome to post your writing in the Comments section (up to 400 words).
That’s it! That’s the whole deal.
